Phosphate & Vanadate Specimens for Sale - Collector Quality Specimens
Phosphate and vanadate minerals are defined by tetrahedral anions - (PO₄) and (VO₄) - bonded to metals, and they commonly form in granitic pegmatites, sedimentary deposits and the oxidised zones of ore bodies. Phosphates include apatite, monazite and turquoise, while vanadates such as vanadinite, mottramite and descloizite are classic secondary minerals from arid lead deposits. Many are vividly coloured and highly collectible. For more information about phosphates and vanadates, click HERE.
