A very rich specimen of blue-green rosasite crystals coating the top of a brown limonite gossan matrix. To the front is a cavity bearing more rosasite crystals, many having well-defined crystalline form. Over the surface of the rosasite are numerous gemmy and transparent calcite crystals. The colour and texture contrast between the limonite and the rosasite, and the sparkling luster of the calcite, is vivid and very attractive. Ex. Doreen Hammerton collection.
