A gray county-rock matrix upon which sit several twinned Quartz crystals. The most complex of these is a group of three fused parallel crystals, all with clearly identifiable terminations. All the clusters are highly transparent and gemmy, typical of this location, which is otherwise famous for individual 'floater' crystals, popularly called Herkimer Diamonds. However, to have these attached so perfectly to a matrix is very rare, making this a highly unusual and desirable specimen.
