A very fine, aesthetic, and dramatic large Muscovite specimen from Linopolis. The body consists of two 'book' aggregates of crystals at a 45-degree angle from each other. The layered structure of each aggregate is very clearly seen. The larger of the two clusters has a very striking face, presenting a very highly lustrous and reflective face. The smaller 'book' towards the back is a fine accent to this excellent large specimen from a classic Minas Gerais locale. The base has been sawn flat for optimum display, and also shows the internal structure of this interesting mineral.
