An unusual combined specimen of Amazonite and Lepidolite. The Amazonite forms a large, well-defined, pale green, prismatic crystal on the side of the specimen. Besides the colour, it has a very attractive vitreous luster. To the other side of the specimen is a mass of highly-crystalline, platy, dark-lavender Lepidolite crystals. The two minerals create a powerful colour contrast. A really pleasing display specimen. The Høydalen lithium pegmatite near Tørdal is known for a number of rare mineral species.
