Black, highly crystalline Hematite on matrix. The crystal form is complex, showing numerous faces and growth zones. The mineral is very bright and lustrous. Interspersed between the Heamatite are numerous well-formed pyramidal crystals of Quartz. These too are highly lustrous and range in colour from pearly white to orange, depending on their iron content and coating. A really striking display specimen from a classic Cornish location.
